Public image

We are in the hall of mirrors and we will never get free
except by shattering the glass, not once, but every day.

world today is the belief that we ought to have a
consistent and presentable image of ourselves.

‘Personality is an unbroken series of successful
gestures.’—F Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
